OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM
The Home Temple qualifies and trains people for different levels of Apostolic Ordination. There are no fees for Ordination or any other religious services. However, Candidates for Ordination to Priesthood or Consecration as a Bishop must travel to California at their own expense for an Ordination Seminar by the Presiding Bishops. Those who have completed the Diaconate Studies have the option of attending an Ordination Seminar for hands-on Ordination to Diaconate, or if travel is too expensive or inconvenient, being granted a license of authorization to operate as a Deacon until completion for requirements for Ordination to Priesthood, at which time he/she must attend an Ordination Seminar or travel to another more proximate Bishop of the Home Temple Synod for valid hands-on Apostolic Ordination.
The Home Temple charges tuition and fees for home-study training materials, seminars, testing, and other training-related events or materials. It also offers the School of Sacred Studies Certificates and Degrees including the Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) for completion of Priesthood training, and Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Doctorate of Divinity (D.D.) degrees for members of the Home Temple Priesthood preparing for nomination to the Episcopate.
